Diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Republic of South Africa were established on 22 April 1993. Turkish Embassy in Pretoria has been functioning in its current address since 22 March 1994.
Within the Embasssy, there are also offices of Military Attaché and Commercial Counsellor.
The Embassy, in addition to the Republic of South Africa, is also accredited to Lesotho andSwaziland
